Last night saw the opening of our new exhibition at 18 Hewett Street, Windowpane, marking the release of cartoonist Joe Kessler's first solo book. The book, synonymously titled Windowpane, consists of seven risograph-printed stories that capture his confident and expressive style. Over 300 people came down last night to check out the show, drink some beer, and buy some prints.

Loosely connected by a bridging theme of ‘fire’, the allegorical content of the stories is as impressive as the aesthetic output. Having made its debut at this year’s Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival, the exhibition now celebrates the book’s UK release, transforming the gallery by showcasing screen prints, process separations and original drawings.

Come down and check out the show for yourself - it will be running until the 2nd December, with all work, alongside the book, for sale.
