The men’s line celebrates its birthday at Protein
“We’re very excited to be opening a menswear pop-up to celebrate Whistles Men turning one,” says Jane Shepherdson, chief executive, Whistles. “It now has many repeat customers who love it for its well-designed, timeless staples and relaxed modern style.”

Visit the store, at Protein Studios, and you’ll be able to pick up the full AW/15 collection, a pair of limited-edition jeans, from the new Whistles x Edwin collaboration, as well as tasty treats, like doughnuts from St John’s and cocktails by Two Birds.

Plus, on Wednesday at 18:30, there’ll be a Q&A session with Simon Piehl, the founder of design studio Bureau for Visual Affairs, and our very own Insight expert Jamie McCracken, who will be speaking about visual identity and taking brands into the digital space.

The success of Whistles Men highlights our Androgynous Zones trend, first published in The Gender Report, which looks at how the fashion industry is increasingly challenging gender stereotypes. In one year Whistles has gone from a womenswear-only brand to a go-to label for the savvy urban male.
