This means that the opportunity to get multiple things done at once, and in one place, is always welcome. Wasbar, a multi-functional business opened in Ghent in Belgium, serves as a hair salon, a café and a launderette all in one location. With the idea being that while people are waiting for the washing cycle to complete they can get trim or a relaxing cup of tea.

The business was put together by design studio Pinkeye, and despite being a launderette, café and a salon, the space manages to simultaneously look like all three. The ‘store’ is the first in a proposed chain that’s looking to expand to other parts of Belgium.
