We're big fans of data here at Protein. More than that we love data coupled with good design. We even built our own app to track and visualise the coffee data coming out of the coffee shop downstairs. Which is why we're excited to announce that Protein is an official media party for next week's conference VISUALIZED in New York, bringing together thought leaders and innovators who are pushing the boundaries of data-driven art, science, design, journalism, UX and UI to explore the future of data visualization.

Organised by Visualized, over 30 of the world's most creative and respected data visualizers (including Alexander Chen of Google Creative Labs, Mike Driscoll of Metamarkets and Shan Carter of New York Times) will present new ideas and deliver meaningful insights to inspire, challenge, and help better communicate the story of data. To top it all off we're even designing a limited-edition poster showing the global data visualisation conversation which will be available at the event as part of our new Protein Journal.

Running November 8th - 9th at the Times Center in NYC, tickets are still available here. Protein also has 4 tickets to give away to 2 lucky winners! To enter, just email with 'Visualized Competition' as the subject line ( and remember, the event is in New York so please only enter if you are able to make be there).
