Spritz is a new 'text streaming' service that promises to help users read a 300 page book in 90 minutes. It considers itself to be the best way to engage with content in the digital age. This sounds like a bold claim but Spritz says that given practise, people should be able to read up to 600 words per minute.

Based on the theory that most readers are slowed down by the movements of the eye as it scans lines of text, Spritz can squeeze an entire novel into a small 300 pixel-wide space, flashing up each word for a fraction of a second. This focussed reading experience aims to help readers get their content faster, with less effort and across any device or screen.

Uno Noteband is the first wearable to be powered by Spritz and is currently crowd-funding on Indiegogo. The Uno Noteband can be used to access incoming calls, emails, social media alerts and reminders as well as updates from integrated applications (including Facebook, X-Box and Twitter), revealing the notifications at up to 600 words per minute. The Uno Noteband also eliminates the need to scroll, allowing you to get through a long text with just one click.

Regardless of the success of Uno Noteband, we're expecting Spritz to enjoy a quick and wide-spread ascendance this year.
