Don't you just hate it when the exhibition that moved you so comes to an inevitable end and all your left with are fading memories? Well, Tate and Cogapp have come up with a simple solution: an iPad app containing the retrospective of the Turbine Hall's Unilever series. It also marks the end of the series. According to Cogapp’s creative director, the idea is to enable a more interactive experience with these now dissembled works of art and for the simplicity of the app’s design to ‘let the work speak for itself’.

Users not only get to see retina-display images of every installation that’s taken up residence in the iconic space but have access to related materials such as films, essays, artist interviews and initial sketches.

An uncomplicated yet effective concept, this app is a fantastic way to immortalise the transience of the Turbine Hall's contents and enable people to learn more, interact with and continue to enjoy the works of art they’ve loved.
