As we've seen before, with the Music Ink project, anyone, even kids, can now transform touch into sound. All you need is conductive paint, some electrical components, and a lot of imagination.

To take their Music Ink project a step further, Bare Conductive, a London-based design studio, have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a hardware tool that can transform any object or surface into a responsive and fun device. The Touch Board is Arduino-compatible and can be used with all kinds of conductive materials: tin foil, copper, electric ink, or even nails. Similar to Linvega's Telekinetic album, but without using Leap Motion technology, the board also features a distance sensor, so it can be employed to create sounds through hand gestures and motion.

Although the Touch Board comes pre-programmed, it allows some tweaking. As a result, designers are offered endless possibilities for creative applications, from wireless light switchers, to handsfree door bells. No wonder that Bare Conductive's project already surpassed the £15,000 goal with 27 days left.
