It's always interesting to discover other people's creative habits and sources of inspiration. This is the basis of the idea behind tobe.us, a new creative platform that showcases creative moments and allows collaboration between like-minded people around the world. Nick Dangerfield, the Co-Founder of To Be (who also runs Parte) calls it "a studio space on the internet".

To Be intends to encourage collaborative works, especially between strangers, and to give them a space of silence and experimentation on the internet, a bit like a more artistically minded Tumblr.

The project is ran by a tight-knit team in New York and the site is set to launch first week of September. If this sounds like your type of thing we have a few limited pre-launch invites available here.
