There are few people in this world to whom the idea of a giant, life-size dollhouse wouldn't appeal. Regardless of age, gender or culture, Target’s new marketing campaign is set to be a crowd-pleaser: a life-size replica of the children’s playhouse, proudly standing in New York’s Grand Central Station.
Situated in the terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, the project has been designed to showcase Target’s home décor line, Threshold, and has been executed by experiential stalwart Deutsch Los Angeles. It’s been designed for exploration, featuring about 4,000 products and items from the shopping giant, and is a welcome change for the terminal’s daily half-million visitors. A perfect blend of escapism and practicality to relieve the demands of a long commute.
