Digital cameras have seen a backlash in the resurgence of film photography for years. However with Instagram and the like offering snappers all the charm of old photos with the conveniences of digital technology, it seems budding lomographers are finding more and more reasons to leave their Leicas at home.

Thirty Six is a new app looks set to recreate the analogue experience more faithfully than ever by giving users a 36 photo ‘film’ that can only be reviewed once all the photos have been taken. The intention being that it will renew the sense of thought, effort and attention that should be paid every time a photograph is taken.

Similar to previous attempts to ‘slow down’ the photography process, Thirty Six aims to repair the sense of disposability that digital cameras have brought about.
