On 23rd January, Ninja Tune stalwart DJ Food is set to unleash his new record, ‘The Search Engine'  – a cosmic piece of work that revels in its fuzzy, bass-heavy psychedelic stylings.

To celebrate, the DJ has collaborated with comic artist Henry Flint (of 2000ad, Marvel and DC fame) and astronomers from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich to create a spectacular, bespoke audiovisual show. Clocking in at 45 minutes, the performance will involve a remixed version of the album featuring exclusive content, accompanied by an immersive, high-resolution projection of spatial imagery on the planetarium’s vast hemispherical screen.

Then, Food and Flint will exhibit original art from ‘The Search Engine’ and Flint’s book Broadcast, at Pure Evil on 26th January, complete with sound installation and limited edition prints. Music audiences increasingly want to be wowed by purveyors of culture, and Food and Flint, along with the Royal Observatory, have come together to create something truly extraordinary. Expect to see more artists doing the same.
