How do you define 'cool'? Film directors Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson think they know. The pair have created a short documentary entitled The Pursuit of Cool, which aims to capture and define what being cool means today. It features interviews with some of New York’s hippest inhabitants, such as television presenter Coltrane Curtis and tailor Michele Savoia.

Rojanathara and Johnson previously directed a short documentary called the Influencers, which explains how consumer behaviour is sometimes influenced by a group of pioneers found in culturally active cities. Now in the Pursuit of Cool they are addressing an even bigger question: what actually is cool?

Currently just a trailer, we look forward to seeing the full documentary.
