Diesel is kicking off a new anti-Internet campaign to promote old shoes. The fashion brand starts by asking, "When did sharing become annoying, and liking just a pointless online gesture? Why do you know what your friend's lunch looks like, and how is this making the world a better place?"

Diesel's idea of "Taking a step back to pre-Internet times" only addresses a few social media services (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), but if you stay off of at least Facebook for three days, they'll enter you into a drawing to win 20 pairs of their Yuk shoes, which debuted in pre-Internet times (1993).

Why anyone would want 20 pairs of the same shoe, we're not sure, but we wholeheartedly support the digital downtime trend. For more ways to unplug, see some of our past Feed posts.
