Frankfurt-based hotel Libertine Lindenberg's approach is the antithesis to the typical hotel experience.

The typical hotel experience can feel isolating and impermanent. Even the most luxurious, five star offerings can seem cold.

Frankfurt based hotel Libertine Lindenberg has introduced a progressive concept that is the antithesis to the detached nature of hotel stays. The innovative model is designed to create a sense of community amongst like-minded guests who value the benefits of long-term, communal living.

While the Libertine Lindeberg is equipped with all hotel essentials, such as room service, chef-prepared meals and a laundry room, the space is purpose built around large public spaces such as a communal kitchen, a recording studio and a bodega.

In a move that points unambiguously to the hotel’s ambition to be viewed as a long-term base from which individuals can visit the neighbouring areas. the Libertine Lindenberg even offers Vespas and camper vans for rental.

The rooms on offer range from maisonettes, to a large three-room loft space. Despite the various unorthodox amenities available, the pricing structure remains affordable. One night’s stay comes in at £61 ($89, €79), one month is charged at £738 ($1,074, €949). The considerable saving per night is purposely designed to attract longer-term visitors.
