Last night saw the launch our favourite food mag The Gourmand's debut exhibition at 18 Hewett Street. The private view was a great succes, with lots of people coming down to check out the work and enjoy the delicious cocktails provided by the lovely folk at Hendricks Gin (think barrel aged Negronis and Gin Gin Mules).

The exhibition is an intimate showcase of limited edition prints especially commissioned for the first two issues of the publication. From Robin Friend’s remarkable shots of crocodiles feeding to Gustav Almestål’s photographs depicting the sensual pleasure of food, the show is a testament to the variety of stories the magazine covers. The exhibition is completed by a huge sculptural dining table designed by Jean Jullien, around which The Gourmand are hosting a series of unique supper clubs next week with Ritas Dining and The Corner Room.

Editions of all the artwork on display at the exhibition will be available for purchase so make sure you come down yourself to check it out.
