Kicking the year off to a good start, on Monday Protein hosted the Future of Retail Forum in partnership with the British Fashion Council for the London Collection: Men. Our first Forum of the year, the seminar detailed how consumer and industry tastes and standards are changing in light of the digital revolution. Addressing an audience of buyers, independent retailers and fashion entrepreneurs, the event took place at the Hospital Club as part of a larger series of business seminars organised by the BFC.

For our panel we invited a group of expert speakers to shed light on the changing landscape of retail environments in the face of the digital revolution. Speaking we had Steve Callanan, CEO of innovative interactive video design firm wireWAX, Jonathan Chippindale, CEO of augmented reality start-up Holition, and Chris Morton, co-founder of online shopping service Lyst.

Each a pioneer in their respective field, Callanan, Chippindale and Morton took it in turns to outline their various achievements, whether it be data driven e-commerce or inventive applications of new technologies to the consumer industries. Following their presentations, a lively and informative discussion ensued between panel members and our audience, discussing the potential for creativity and originality in new digital retail environments.
