The French Launderette is a supper club inspired by famous restaurateur Thomas Keller’s forthcoming pop-up restaurant in Harrods. Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry is a restaurant in California’s Napa Valley, serving high quality food inspired by the French countryside. His reputable landmark restaurant is traveling to London’s Harrods for a pop-up venture that will last ten days in October. Disappointed that she could not afford the £250 price tag on Keller’s pop-up, passionate foodie Sabrina Ghayour decided to host her own cheeky alternative called The French Launderette.   With an army of Tweeters uniting to volunteer and assist her in this fun venture, the project is now underway, charging just 1% of the original’s price. For £2.50 guests can enjoy a menu inspired by Keller’s signature dishes at London’s fine dining restaurant The Chancery.   The project brings together a community of food lovers who are willing to cook, donate and source ingredients in order to accommodate this more affordable supper club.
