It's possible you've never heard of the design firm Pentagram, but you've most definitely seen their work. Over the last four decades Pentagram has designed identities for Citibank, United Airlines, Nike, Dell, and many others.

Recently Pentagram celebrated their 40th anniversary with an immaculately produced (no surprise) short film entitled 'The Forty Story'. The interesting bit is how they did it: the video is, in Pentagram's own words, 'the story of a boy born on the day Pentagram opened and how his life has been tracked (and kerned) by forty years of Pentagram design.'

Its a simple yet effective way to tell a story through a piece of online video content.
