There seems to be no shortage of innovative, light based installations at the moment. From the UV thread-lit rooms in Paris to the INFRA exhibition currently on display in our very own gallery right now, artists seem keen to explore interesting ideas involving light and technology. Norwegian artist Alexander Rishaug seems happy to join in and his latest exhibition, currently on display at the Galleri ROM in Oslo, looks amazing.

Combining sensors that react to movement and sound, Submergence acts as a halfway point between extravagant lighting and a 3D screen. All 8,064 of the multicoloured LEDs that make up the installation are programable and can react to a variety of external stimuli.
