Danish design studio Kollision's latest work looks at interactivity, inferred A.I., atmosphere and architecture. Twenty glowing cubes, suspended from the ceiling sway, glow and hum ominously, reacting to visitors movements and location within the gallery.

Housed in the warehouse-like Godsbanen building in Aahus as part of this year's Media Architecture Biennale, the installation resembles a floating snake creature, with the cubes giving the impression of acting as a single entity. As visitors move around the space the cubes light up and darken and the atmospheric soundtrack changes accordingly, adding to the notion of the structure's singular consciousness.
