If you got the chance to go back to school, what would you want to learn? Well, one interesting project has just launched in the US called SparkTruck, a travelling workshop designed to engage kids in some technology hacking and DIY making.

Funded by Kickstarter and manned by students from Stanford University, the truck is kitted out with rapid prototyping equipment including a laser cutter, 3-D printers, sewing machines and a clay oven. Kids are encouraged to create products out of the materials and become inspired by the design potentials.

The truck is on a road-trip across the US, covering over 13, 000 miles over the next 6 weeks to reach as many places as possible. Similar to projects such as Makey Makey or the profile on MIT's Eric Rosenbaum, this project highlights the importance of play to stimulate creativity.
