Dutch design team Trapped in Suburbia has designed an interactive poster that also acts as a musical instrument. As you move your hand over the colourful geometric shapes, different sounds are produced, thanks to its touch-sensitive conductive paint. The poster is the first one in series of ‘analogue meets digital’ design experiment of the studio. Currently, the sounds are limited by a number of geometric shapes on the poster. The guys behind it aim to refine its mechanism in the future, allowing users to produce melodies, rather than just noise.
