Cloud lovers have got a new toy to play with as RCA Design graduate Marjan Van Aubel has designed a pair of cloud watching glasses as part of her Sky Walk project. The device is worn like a pair of glasses, and features a mirrored visor that rests across the face. This reflects the sky so the wearer can view the clouds above without having to look upwards.

The designer took her invention for a test drive with Cloud Appreciation Society founder Gavin Pretor-Pinney. The small team went for a Sky Walk around Hyde Park with the reflective invention strapped to their faces.

Marjan Van Aubel’s work showed at the recent RCA Degree Show in London, and we look forward to seeing more work by her in the future.
