Protein are looking for Senior Insight Analyst to work as part of a multi-disciplined agile team to lead, plan, design, and conduct bespoke consumer research.
Protein are looking for Senior Insight Analyst to work as part of a multi-disciplined agile team to lead, plan, design, and conduct bespoke consumer research. The role is split into two key pillars: research (trend reports, consumer typologies etc) and strategy (brand strategy, innovation, workshops, brand activation etc)
Relationship
- Communicating and promoting positive interaction between the insight/strategy team, Protein departments, clients and partners
- Leading, managing and inspiring a team
- Regularly manage, brief and liaise with our global network of insight correspondents (our eyes and ears on the ground in cities around the world)
- Grow and share your own trusted network of correspondents and experts that can be called upon to assist on projects
- Capturing ROI and client testimonials
Bespoke Content
- Leading projects, end to end
- Writing proposals from start to finish, and being an active member of the pitch team. Attending new business meetings and pitches
- Drawing insights from research and articulating key findings relating to client objectives
- Creating and delivering client presentations and facilitating workshops
- Managing a team to ensure that members collaborate with project managers, partners, design and production to deliver on time and within budget
- Client/project lead, output and communication – working with project managers to respond to client correspondence where necessary
- Writing clear and inspirational content that clearly articulates (through visuals and copy) trend, customer and client futures to Protein’s standards
- Confidence in debriefing research findings to a wide range of clients from marketers and designers to brand managers and CEOs

- Analysing research activities in order to action business growth
- Driving high-quality and innovative outputs : Demonstrating a deep understanding of each client’s category, business and objectives
- Timely problem solving, if and when work is not fully resonating
- Provide recommendations on next steps for the client
Protein brand
- Solid contribution to building Protein’s business through internal ideas and motivation
- Help build the Protein brand externally through personal networks and industry exposure
- Help conceptualise and produce our in-house series of insight-related events –from our monthly Forums to our quarterly Academies
- Help contribute to and write for our online editorial – Feed, Profiles, Briefings, Reports – as well as our ever-expanding print publication, The Protein Journal.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years in a creative agency working in user research & strategy.
- BA level degree in behavioural or social sciences, design research or equivalent industry experience.
- Expertise in consumer research, fluent in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g. field studies, interviewing, contextual inquiry, questionnaire development and survey research, competitive benchmarking, etc.) and be able to quickly and effectively analyse and present data to influence strategy.
- Ability to develop creative approaches to researching complex problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, persuasiveness, and the ability to make compelling group presentations.
- General knowledge of and passion in a wide range of cultural verticals.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Must be fluent in English.
