The new ScoreCleaner Notes app gives singing in the shower a whole new meaning. Now anyone who has a melodic idea can hum their tune into their phone and in an instant, the melodies key, time, tempo and a music sheet with notation appears on the screen. Once the score is written, it can then be shared by email or social media.
The app which was developed by Sven Emtell, a computer engineering student and Sven Ahlback, a professor at Stockholm Music University is a product of months of research and is now being adopted by elementary schools and professional musicians.
