Finding a parking space in San Francisco just got a whole lot cooler and super techy with the recently unveiled SFPark system. Helping you park smarter, it is currently trialing in eight neighbourhoods and aims to completely change the way locals hunt for a parking space.

Using the SFPark website or iPhone app, you’re able to see where there are free spaces and what the daily rates are in real time - as the city will also begin charging parking spaces based on their demand.

We see this slowly rolling out in cities worldwide, and wonder why we haven’t seen app’s like this implemented much sooner, but alternatively, if parking prices continue to rise more people will turn to public transportation. See more of SFPark here.
