Digital overload could well be one of the most unavoidable quandaries of the modern age. But for most people, respite is the remedy; get as far removed from a computer for as long as possible in order to balance time on\off line.

Often a digital overdose can lead to varying degrees of stress so it seems counterintuitive to try to unwind from the strains of online life by spending even more time online. However, a new web page called Relaax.in, created by artist Joey Villemont, brands itself as an alternative anti-stress site, full of soothing digital art pieces that induce relaxation. The sensory experience of the site is enhanced by the addition of background music in the form of tinkling piano keys, smooth jazz, whispering or ambient sound waves. Visitors to the site are encouraged to add their own images to the gallery in the hope of creating a “chill-art” community.
