Some jobs require really strong boots. To show off just how strong its footwear is, Red Wing shoes has produced a short documentary featuring the extensive product tests it conducts in its factory.

Red Wing takes us behind the scenes in the video as it rigorously tests its materials to ensure that its footwear withstands the toughest conditions. Before being available to retailers, the shoes undergo waterproof testing, impact testing and slip testing.

As the increasingly scrutinising public wishes to understand the craft and processes behind products, more brands are shining light upon what goes on behind the scenes, providing a measure of quality to its consumers.
