To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Hugo Boss has launched an exhibition at London’s Saatchi Gallery under the name “Red Never Follows”. The exhibition features the work of 20 artists and designers from all over the world, including Turkish born Guvenc Ozel, Japanese Daito Manabe, German collective Elektropastete and fellow German native Felix Bonowski. The exhibition runs until September 1st and showcases practices from a cross-section of disciplines; from video installations and sound design to so-called 'pneumatic environments', inflatable architecture and immersive mixed-reality installations.

While the brand celebrates 20 years of business in the fashion industry, the exhibition voyages into the realm of art and science, and chooses to focus instead on creative innovation within these fields. Bonowski's Proximity/Replusion and Elektropastete's Digital Fragments for example, are virtual works designed to respond to the body movements of visitors. Akin to Bonjour Lab's Passages, they allow visitors to interact with the works and see their shadows cast upon a pulsating kinetic wall. While Ozel's Cerebral Hut is an immersive, pulsating architectural environment that explores the relationship between a person and their surroundings by responding to the participants brain activity.

Connecting practices from far-flung destinations all over the world, Red Never Follows is not an event to be missed.
