Not many of us at Protein have a strong grasp on the Portuguese language, but we understand it well enough to see that PUMA has joined a growing list of brands (Peroni, Mulberry, Louis Vuitton) producing digital city guides.

The recently launched PUMA Social Guide includes over 300 listings for places to eat, drink, party and play like a local in São Paolo and Rio de Janeiro. Each entry includes photos and a substantial write up, all geared towards 'night athletes'. The guide could be useful for the upcoming 2014 World Cup and slightly less upcoming 2016 Olympics, assuming you speak Portuguese.

No word yet if the guide will be translated into other languages, or if PUMA plans on spotlighting additional cities, in Brazil or beyond.
