Sport and streetwear brand Puma is launching an annual film commission to celebrate World Peace Day. World Peace Day is a day where individuals, organisations and nations demonstrate acts of peace. Puma’s peace initiative focuses on how each individual in the world can make a difference to contribute towards a better world. Puma has curated a series of films by 7 international artists which covers a diverse range of styles from experimental animation to 35mm live action, all around the topic ‘peace starts with me’.   The 30 to 90 second shorts are available to download here, and will also screened at the World Peace Festival in Berlin, the One Young World Summit in Zurich and the worldwide Puma / Adidas 3rd annual Peace Day Games. Watch Amsterdam-based artist Jacco Olivier’s film above, an abstract visualisation of when he feels at peace with himself - ‘the transitional space between sleep and wakefulness’. We hope to see more brands utilise their extensive outreach to foster a positive message in a creative and engaging way.
