Despite all its conveniences, digital photography has failed to truly bury its predecessor. Analogue photography just won't die. The reasons for this are plentiful, there's a sentimental value in a physical photograph that can't be replicated digitally, it's also nice to have a little more control over who sees an image, rather than have it floating around in the cloud for anyone to gawp at.
For these reasons and many more, the appeal of traditional, physical photographs has meant that products that attempt to balance the convenience of digital photography with the appeal of physical are still cropping up on a regular basis. Over the past year we've seen apps like 1-Hour Photo artificially recreate the experience of waiting for photos to develop as well as Lomo'Instant, the product from camera company Lomography that recreates the classic Polaroid, instant photo experience.
Now comes Prynt, a device that attaches to iPhone 6s and Android phones and allows the user to print out any digital photo they've taken. The company is currently gearing itself up for the product's launch on Kickstarter and with photographers seeming so reluctant to give up the physical medium, chances are it'll succeed.
