We held a party for the exclusive Stor Eiglass VR video release
To mark the release of Stor Eiglass, the latest track from Squarepusher’s Damogen Furies album, bleeding-edge artists Marshmallow Laser Feast(MLF), Blue Zoo and Rob Pybus have come together to create a virtual reality and 360º video that can be experienced via a VR headsets, mobiles, tablets and YouTube’s new 360º platform.

We teamed up with Warp Records to throw a party at Protein HQ, offering guests the first chance to watch the video on Samsung Gear VR headsets.

“The video opens with a smiley glossy world full of health freaks but soon transcends into a world where everyone is addicted to VR headed up by a mysterious shaman,” explain the video's creators. “An ominous pink goo slowly consumes everyone before transforming into a grotty depressing bed sit that sees the viewer scanning their depressing surroundings, a warning about the consumption of new technologies.” Sounds weird, looks even weirder after a few free drinks.
