The rules of the dating game have changed. In our increasingly connected world, new ways of building connections seem to be cropping up all the time, and meeting and sleeping with people has never been simpler. Or has it? What are the implications of this surge of dating and hook-up apps? How are they changing the way we approach potential partners and think about sex and relationships? Does making it that much easier also make it that much sleazier?

To get to the bottom of this, we’re holding a Forum investigating the developing nature of sex, love and everything in between. Taking place on Monday the 19th of May at our New Inn Yard Space, tickets are £10 and available here.

Speakers include:

Jerry Barnett, an author whoseSex & Censorship campaign aims to counter moral panic in the media with evidence-based argument, defend sexual rights, and oppose any further drive towards censorship.

Dimo Trifonov from 3nder, a matchmaking app that makes arranging threesomes a whole lot easier.

Cassie Robinson, founder of the Intimacy Lab, a Barbican project that created a space designed to help people open up and discuss sex, sexuality and create a discussion around these issues.

Dr. Sharif Mowlabocus, author, senior lecturer at University of Sussex and editor of the Journal of Porn Studies, his innovative and challenging research explores the sociological effect of media and technology on human relations.
