Protein Forum: The Future of Fashion
Next week, to coincide with Bread & Butter Berlin, we're holding a Forum taking a look at what's on the horizon for the fashion industry
Protein are in Berlin next week at Bread & Butter, and while we're there, we're joining forces with our friends at Blueprint Media to hold a Forum looking at what's in store for the fashion industry. We've assembled some of the most innovative minds and creative forces in the fashion world to discuss what's next for the constantly evolving industry. Following our regular Forum format, the session will consist of each speaker presenting their own body of work and context of their expertise, before the floor is opened up and the audience can participate in the discussion and ask questions on any topics and ideas that have been raised.
Speaking at the Forum we have:
- Ricardo O'Nascimento of Popka Lab, an experiential design lab that focuses on ideas using smart fabrics, interactive installations and tangible interfaces.
- Tom Adeyoola from Metail, a potentially revolutionary start-up that's aiming to take all the uncertainty out of shopping for clothes online with smart 3D body measuring technology.
- Kevin Braddock, Editor-in-Chief of Sleek Mag, a Berlin based, contemporary fashion and art quarterly that's been going for nearly a decade.
- Anna Wilhelmi, a German fashion designer whose work has appeared at catwalk shows in London and Berlin. She's made a name for herself experimenting with the potential of technologies like 3D printing.
The Forum takes place on Wednesday the 15th of January at the HUBstore in Berlin. Apply for tickets by RSVPing to lisanne@blueprintmedia.nl.
