Powered by EventbriteJoin us on the 8th June for our forum exploring the rise of Generation Z

As tween and teenage members of generation Z – young people born between 1994 and 2010 – continue to develop apps, launch million-follower vlogs, create fashion collections and form not-for-profit groups, we’re likely to see more of these multihyphenates make the news. Together, they increasingly give form to the notion that today’s teenagers are an ambitious, industrious, audacious bunch; an enterprising generation set to change the face of education, politics, society and the economy as we know it.

From activists to entrepreneurs, a new generation of teens are emerging and they're shedding stereotypes.  This group of teens are not technology addicts, they’re self-starters; they’re not unfocused, they’re perceptive; they’re not emotional, they’re engaged.  This is the generation who have been growing up behind the scenes, and are now ready to change the world.

To coincide with our upcoming Age Report, we’re exploring the factors driving the new teen spirit. From the rise of technology, to changing attitudes to education, we’ll get to grips with what makes this generation tick.
Speaking this time we have:

- Harriet Verney, a London based writer, journalist and stylist who started contributing for the likes of i-D, US Vogue and Vogue.com and Lula Magazine at 16.
- Bejay Mulenga who built social enterprise, Supa Tuck which grew to be worth £200,000 by the time he hit 18.
- James Anderson, the founder of Thinkspace and Space Lounges who started coding at the age of seven.
