Join a dream team of panelists to discuss football's reboot at Protein Studios

For some the beautiful game never lost its charm. But recently there’s been a change in the air that even die hard fans will find hard to deny. Post-match debates takes place on Twitter, the ‘new casuals’, confidently sporting Palace Tees and Reebok Classics, have taken the place of blokish lads, while events like Boiler Room Fives are bringing dance music, street food and football culture closer together.

Protein has assembled its own team of pundits to look at the future of football. Join us for our live Off The Pitch discussion with James Roper, ‎editor and creative director at The Green Soccer Journal; photographer Stuart Roy Clarke, known for his project Homes of Football; Trisha Lewis, of Boiler Room Ladies FC, and Andy Walsh, manager of community-owned football club FC United of Manchester.

Key topics:
– What impact is social-media having on matches?
– Is lower-league football seeing a renaissance?
– How are women reviving grassroots football culture?
– Are fans being priced out of premier league games?

Kick off is at 7pm, on April 27, at Protein Studios, London, EC2A 3EY. Tickets are available here. Drinks courtesy of our friends at Wray & Nephew
