Earlier this week we hosted the Future of Work Forum, that coincided with the launch of the latest Protein Journal. For this Forum half of this double-bill we invited pioneers in the fields of education and employment to come talk about the ways people are now preparing themselves for the working world. On our panel we had Jon Barnes of Hyper Island, talking about adaptability and its importance in new work cultures, Mark Lester from FutureLearn on maintaining a competitive element, Ansel Neckles of Let's Be Brief on creative programming and how to effectively learn independently and Femi Bola of University of East London offering her observations on the disparity between the expectations of graduates and those of employers.

A stimulating discussion, the sell out event was accompanied by an exhibition of image and illustrations from the latest Journal which features an interview with Es Devlin, Kanye’s go-to set designer on the enduring nature of the live experience as well as an in-depth insight report exploring new work environments and approaches.

If you missed out on this event don’t worry because on the 1st of May we’re holding a party to celebrate the official opening of our brand new home, Protein Studios. Complete with Protein Soundsystem DJs and food from Mei Mei’s Street Cart and 1235 Donuts it's not to be missed. RSVP now at rsvp@prote.in
