Protein Gallery is proud to present ‘Pictures for a Painting’, an art exhibition and auction in order to raise money for the James Painting Foundation. The exhibition will run from 12th-17th December in our New Inn Yard Studio Space, weekdays 10am-6pm, weekends 11am-5pm.

James Painting recently passed away from brain cancer. Always inspiring and helping others, the foundation has been set up to continue his legacy by helping him to help other brain cancer sufferers and their families and carers. Over 100 works by artists, designers and studios have kindly been donated and will be displayed and available to buy, with all money going directly to the James Painting Foundation.
Contributors include: Jean Jullien, Anthony Burrill, Sam Winston, Bill Bragg (LeGun), NoBrow, Print Club London, Peepshow, Ted Pearce, Cachete Jack, Jiro Bevis, Tim Head, DayJob, People Of Print, HelloVon, Olio Studio, work-form, Zombie Collective and many, many more.

Artworks can be bought by bidding in a blind auction that will run through the course of the exhibition. Bids can be placed at the gallery or online at www.picturesforapainting.tumblr.com
The highest bidder will be contacted at the end of the exhibition to arrange payment and collection or postage of the work.
