This month printmaking specialists People of Print (POP) will be showcasing 10 international artists at Germany’s screenprint festival Druck Berlin. The two day festival hosted by local screen printing collective Mother Drucker is taking place in Stattbad, a disused swimming pool. POP is a community for designers who love all things print-related and acts as a platform to promote emerging designers, illustrators and printmakers. For Druck Berlin they have hand selected 10 talented artists to exhibit their prints at the screen print festival. Visitors can see artwork from the likes of Heretic, Jasper Goodall, Mike Zimmerman, Rob Corradetti, Gordon Magnin and Aurelia Lange.   Druck Berlin is a chance to explore the city’s printmaking scene, with artists working at the event using a variety of printing techniques. There will also be a large mural painting, fanzine printing and much more going on during the course of the festival. As the art scene is becoming increasingly saturated with digital projects, it is nice to see projects such as this that celebrate traditional techniques and promote physical artwork.
