Michelin-starred chef Paco Roncero recently unveiled his private gastronomical taller, or workshop, in Madrid, Spain. Designed by Carmen Baselga Taller de Proyectos, "the project takes place in a space where the most advanced technologies, new materials and eco-sustainable systems for the I+D+I will be put together with the risqué gastronomic proposals of a perfect technique from the chef."

The workshop features an "oleotec" consisting of 216 unique varieties of olive oil, accompanied by a touchscreen that provides information on each variety. The ceramic table, which seats nine, includes temperature-controlled areas to keep dishes heated or cooled as necessary.

We're interested to see which technological innovations make their way out of Roncero's Taller and into wider culinary culture.
