It’s that time of year again, when BFI opens it’s doors and welcomes onedotzero festival back in for the 13th year running. Protein has been working alongside the guys at onedotzero since their second year, supporting what has become a great tradition in the BFI calendar. onedotzero will be held from 9-13 September, a visual feast for all the senses. Protein will once again partner the festival and this year are programming the music for the launch party, held in East London this coming Tuesday. There are so many great events happening throughout the festival and Protein have selected a few not-to-be-missed festival essentials. Kicking us off on the Wednesday, our friends at Dazed & Confused fashion team will be showcasing a range of avant garde fashion-inspired films created by leading innovators of the field. Take yourself over to the interactive music video lounge designed to encourage the public to engage with, and affect the music promos, by crossing the boundaries between audience and film maker. Be sure to catch Alistair Siddon’s Turn It Loose, capturing South Africa’s b-boy battle from the eye’s of the competitors.
