A new smart bracelet that can help you reduce your stress levels.
Stress has become a far more common place ailment in the digital age; non-stop access to information can at times feel overwhelming.  As the the go-to solution for digital age problems is wearable tech, a group of designers and engineers have created a new wearable stress tracker.

Olive is a smart bracelet equipped with several sensors that measure skin temperature and conductance, heart rate, and many other physical indicators of anxiety. By coupling the data with a smartphone app, Olive helps users better understand their lifestyle and manage stress factors. When the bracelet registers an increase in stress levels, it sends haptic and luminous notifications, while also providing the wearer with a series of exercises that could help him or her bring their levels back to normal. By double-tapping the bracelet, the user can let the bracelet know their day has gone well so far, and the app will supply a short report of the moments that have lead up to it.

In developing this product, designers have drawn insights from research in various fields, such as biofeedback, mindfulness, positive psychology, and behavioural therapy. At the moment, Olive is seeking funding on Indiegogo, and has raised almost all the necessary money in just a few days. If all goes according to plan, the bracelet will start shipping in November 2015.
