Offline is a new mobile magazine that seeks to deliver 'an hour of content you can feel good about consuming, made for a tribe of people hungry for discovering new ideas.' The intention of the makers was to create a magazine that helps you escape the noise of your newsfeed and channel attention to a smaller selection of high quality content.

Offering a textual as well as an aural version of the story, Offline covers culture, humor and opinion. The app puts up five features each month - all written by subject matter experts and story tellers. Initial articles were written by the likes of Danny Wallace and Jack Cheng, and design director Khoi Vinh. A helpful little feature is that the app tells you how many minutes it would take to read each piece of content.

Readers can subscribe to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch app for 99p per month in the Apple Store.
