The ICA is hosting Noises In Your Head tomorrow, which’ll see UCL Neuroscientists Dr Carolyn McGettigan and Professor Vincent Walsh, UK beat box champion Reeps One and Notation and Interpretation curator Joana Seguro all under one roof.

The four speakers have worked together before, trying to figure out how the brain sounds. Reeps One and Dr McGettigan have been looking into what his brain looks like when he performs - does it interpret beat boxing as speaking or singing? Or maybe neither? Professor Walsh and Seguro worked on Brainwaves, a project that saw them putting artists under brain scanners to work out how sound affects the brain.

Go down and learn what's going on up there - you can get tickets here.
