One year on from his summer residency at the Camden Roundhouse entitled ‘Curtain Call’, Israeli designer and architect Ron Arad showcases ‘Monumental Installation 720°’ for Jerusalem season of culture at the Israel Museum.

Made possible by the Schusterman Foundation and the Municipality of Jerusalem, the production exhibits a development  of ideas based upon his earlier work in London. Consisting of 5,600 silicon rods making up a 360 degree digital canvas and suspended from a height of 26 feet, the immersive piece allows the audience to experience stunning visuals from both inside and outside the giant structure.

Monumental Installation 720° screens video art and projections in the centre of the museum’s Billy Rose art garden, featuring work by prominent multi-media artists such as Ori Gersht, David Shrigley, Christian Marclay and Mat Collishaw.

Ron Arad's Monumental Installation 720° will be showing in the Israel Museum from August 16 - September 5.
