Legendary notebook company Moleskin have paid tribute to the 20th anniversary of the text message with their latest limited edition notepad. The new notepad can be used as a ballistic device which allows people to return to their childhood roots and flick paper messages to one another.

Each notebook comes with perforated pages filled with short notes ('I Love You' and 'Call Me' amongst others) which can be ripped out, folded up, and launched into the air using the elasticated book cover. The project is neatly called The Moleskin Shooting Message System in hommage to the SMS.

This endearing project was designed by Pietro Corraini and was launched as a worldwide exclusive for Milan Design Week. It's another neat example of a design which creates an analogue representation of a digital past-time.
