As technology adapts and develops, the fourth wall is torn down to transform passive viewers into active participants. In the past few months, bands like Light Light and Tanlines have released experiential videos encouraging their fans to fully engage with their sound and vision.

Ioanna Gika and Leopold Ross of Los Angeles-based shoegaze band Io Echo teamed up the minds behind Arcade Fire’s groundbreaking interactive video for 'We Used to Wait' to create a psychedelic, exploratory trip in the duo’s new video 'Ministry of Love'. Using  the mouse to alter the images and move through different 'rooms', the viewer creates a inimitable sensory experience. With dreamy lo-fi images and stimulating interactions, it is impossible to watch it just once.
The video concludes with a download of a postcard created during the video, enabling the participant to take home a piece of the experience.
