A watch that acts as phone, exercise companion, remote control, gesture tracker, responds to your voice and is waterproof? While it sounds like something Q concocted for James Bond, it’s the Meteor Smartwatch from Kreyos. The first smartwatch with voice and gesture control, Meteor connects to the iPhone, Android or Windows Phone handset to create a handsfree speaker device.

While it’s strength is integrating with various smartphone platform voice control systems, Meteor boosts its own standalone functionality as well. With software support, a 3-axis gyroscope enables gesture control. It also includes a built in pedometer and with its ANT+ sensor support it can read data from a wireless heart monitor.

The Meteor Smartwatch is set for release in November having reached double it's original goal of $100,000 on crowd funding site Indiegogo.
