Brooklyn band Chairlift has just released a video for their new single 'Met Before' which is inspired by the 'choose your own adventure' format of childhood books. Developed by the team at creative company m ss ng p eces and directed by Jordan Fish, the interactive concept allows viewers to choose the destiny of the main character by clicking on arrows that pop up on the screen. The video sees the characters as research scientists, and different clicks lead the story in different directions, from dancing on tables to tracking wildlife in the woods to discovering the neural basis for deja vu. Once a version is created, viewers can share their adventure through social media and repeat the process again (and again) to find new pathways.

By using the 'choose your path' format, the video gives the viewer a more involving role which creates a much more engaging experience. Try it out for yourself at www.chairlifted.com.
